Proud history of service. Making a difference today. Ready for tomorrow.
About Us
Since 1917, local Lions clubs have offered people just like you the opportunity to give something back to their community. Today, with over 1.3 million men and women in more than 200 countries, Lions have expanded their focus to help meet the ever-increasing needs of our society.
As a member of a Lions club, you become aware of the needs of our community and have the advantage to effectively make a difference. Our Club, founded in 1952, provides Lions in the League City area with project management assistance, leadership training, personal development opportunities, and organized fundraising programs. Being a Lion empowers you to help others in a way that no one person could alone.
Now more than ever, people with vision and other medical problems, our senior community, our youth, and the disadvantaged around the world need your help. You can make a difference. By participating in the League City Lions Club, you can help meet pressing needs in our community and around the world.
What is a Lions Club?
A Lions club is an international non-sectarian, non-political service organization whose members are a group of service-minded men and women from all walks of life. Members are men and women who are dedicated to working and raising funds to make their communities a better place to live in. These help to support the handicapped, the underprivileged, the aged, the sickly, the blind, the deaf, and the youth of the community.
